PRIF identified the need to develop a central, shared mapping of cybersecurity improvement initiatives undertaken by all stakeholders and PRIF’s member countries. The report presents the results of the mapping exercise involving 46 stakeholders and 14 countries in the Pacific – PRIF members, together with Papua New Guinea. The survey was undertaken in June 2022, and the results presented in this Report are a snapshot of cybersecurity initiatives in the region. The mapping exercise was aimed at identifying cybersecurity initiatives that have recently been implemented, are ongoing, or are planned for the Pacific region and populating them in a database. It is intended to support PRIF members by identifying gaps and overlaps, as well as areas for future cooperation.
