ADB’s programing in the country seeks to reduce costs by increasing the supply of renewable energy, improving water supply and sanitation, and basic education, and provide technical assistance for public administration reforms, particularly at the state level. The Bank's cumulative loan and grant disbursements to the FSM amount to US$96.3 million, by regular and concessional ordinary capital resources and the Asian Development Fund.
