This is the first episode of a 9-part series to disseminate the findings of the World Bank's upcoming flagship report, "Guide to Mobility for Livable Pacific Cities", set to be released in September 2024.  The report is a blueprint for revolutionizing urban transportation in the Pacific, making it more sustainable, safe, affordable and people-friendly.

The inaugural webinar highlights the critical role of safe urban speeds. Discover how effective speed management can drastically improve road safety and breathe new life into our city streets, making them more conducive to walking, cycling, and public transit. We'll dissect the current speed management issues plaguing Pacific Island Countries, unveil innovative interventions, and chart a course for action that could see urban road speed limits reduced to 30 km/hr.
