Pacific Power Utilities Benchmarking Report - 2015 Fiscal Year

The benchmarking of the 2015 Fiscal Year data for the PPA Utilities is the first year in which the Association has taken full responsibility of collection and verification of the data as well as and the production of the key performance indicator. This round of benchmarking is also the first to present only a summary of the indicators with no analysis in line with PPA Board’s resolution at the 2013 Board Meeting held in Koror, Palau, on July 16, 2013.

 

Pacific Power Utilities Benchmarking Summary Report - 2016 Fiscal Year

In the 2016 Fiscal Year, 18 utilities took part in the annual pacific power utilities benchmarking exercise. Similar to 2015, PPA through World Bank funded Sustainable Energy Industry Development Project (SEIDP) engaged services of an electrical engineer to provide assistance in vetting and the analysis of the utility data as well as preparing the 2016 Fiscal Year Benchmarking Summary Report. This round of benchmarking presents only a summary of the indicators with no analysis in line with PPA Board’s resolution at the Board Meeting held in Koror, Palau, on July 16, 2013.

 

PWWA - Water Benchmarking Report 2012

This report presents the 2012 benchmarking results of 22 water utilities in the Pacific Region, prepared under the direction of the Pacific Water and Wastes Association (PWWA) and with the support of the Pacific Infrastructure Advisory Centre (PIAC).

Collectively, the utilities that participated in this year’s benchmarking survey are supplying water to some 1.8 million people and provide wastewater services to approximately half a million people.

PWWA - Water Benchmarking Report 2013

This report presents benchmarking results from 24 water utilities, 20 of which completed the 2013 benchmarking questionnaire. Collectively these utilities supply water and wastewater services in 14 countries and 2 US protectorates in the Pacific region. The report has been prepared under the direction of the Pacific Water and Wastes Association (PWWA) with support from the Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility (PRIF).

Pacific Power Association - Benchmarking Report 2012

This is a publication of the Pacific Power Association. The 2012 Benchmarking Report presents the results of the second consecutive annual assessment of Pacific electricity utility performance. In addition to comparing performance over the last two benchmarking periods for the participating utilities, the work in 2012 included the preparation of a comprehensive Benchmarking Manual and significant site assistance.

2016 Pacific Infrastructure Performance Indicators Performance Report

The Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility (PRIF) aims to support Pacific Island Countries (PICs) in infrastructure development through research, technical assistance, and coordination between donor agencies, development partners and PIC governments. The Pacific Infrastructure Performance Indicators (‘PIPIs’) 2016 presents the most recent data for 65 individual performance indicators as well as some comparative analysis over two points in time (i.e. 2010/11 and 2014/15) in order to facilitate monitoring of trends in the sectors included in the report.

Pacific Water and Wastewater Utilities Benchmarking Report 2013

Vanuatu named best pacific water utility in new benchmarking report Nadi, Fiji (13 May 2014). Vanuatu’s Electrique du Vanuatu Ltd was rated the Best Performing Pacific Water Utility of the Year according to the 2013 edition of the Pacific Water and Wastewater Utilities Benchmarking Report, released today by the Pacific Water and Wastewater Association (PWWA). The 24 utilities that participated in the benchmarking survey are supplying water to about 1.9 million people and provide wastewater services to approximately 400,000 people in the Pacific.

Power Benchmarking Report 2016 (2013-2014 data)

The latest in a series of Pacific power utility performance benchmarking reports is released. Since 2011 the Pacific Power Association (PPA), the Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility (PRIF) and the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) have been working in partnership to support performance benchmarking among 25 electric power utilities in 20 countries and territories in the Pacific. The report is the fourth in a series since benchmarking commenced in 2000.
